Accessibility Statement
How this website is built to be usable by everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Our commitment
Fathom Solutions Group Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever technology or ability they bring to it. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and that standard is checked automatically on every release before any change reaches the site.
What this statement covers
This statement covers www.fathomsolutions.co.uk: the home, services, about and contact pages, the four legal pages including this one, and the “page not found” page. The site carries no documents to download, no embedded video, no forms and no third-party widgets.
Legislation
The Equality Act 2010 requires service providers, including those providing services online, to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage. This site is our reasonable adjustment for the web.
How the site is built
- Semantic structure. Headings, landmarks, lists and buttons are real HTML elements, so screen readers can read the page as it is organised.
- Keyboard. Everything that can be clicked can be reached and operated from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. The cookie banner and the mobile menu are keyboard-operable and announced to assistive technology.
- Contrast. Text and controls meet the WCAG 2.2 Level AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and interface components), including text over the home page hero.
- Images. The wordmark and the two decorative drawings carry the alternative text, or the presentational marking, that they should.
- Motion. Scroll-reveal and other movement are turned off when your operating system asks for reduced motion.
- Responsive. The pages reflow to a 390-pixel-wide phone without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged in the browser.
How we check it
Every change to this site passes an automated accessibility test before it is published: the full WCAG 2.2 Level AA rule set (axe-core) runs against every page, in every navigation state, with the cookie banner open and with the preferences pane open. A change that fails does not go live. Lighthouse accessibility scoring runs on every page in the same gate. Automated testing does not find everything, so we also review the site by keyboard and with a screen reader when it changes.
Known limitations
We are not aware of any part of this site that does not meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If you find one, please tell us and we will fix it.
Feedback and contact
If you meet a barrier on this site, or need any of its content in another format, email accessibility@fathomsolutions.co.uk. We will reply within 5 working days and fix reported problems as quickly as we practicably can.
If you are not satisfied
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com, which handles complaints under the Equality Act 2010.
