What applies to you,
and where you stand.
One maintained record of the duties you carry. An assessment of where you stand against them. An assurance framework that keeps the answer current after we have gone.
In brief
Most organisations cannot produce one list of what they are obliged to do, who holds each duty, what evidences it, and how often. The obligations sit across statute, standards, permits, insurance conditions and customer contracts. Nobody owns the whole.
We build that record and test your position against it on the evidence, not the intention. You are left with a framework of checks your own people run. The register on its own usually turns up two or three duties nobody had allocated.
What we deliver
The elements below are the ones this work most often needs. Which of them apply is settled during scoping.
- Obligations register: one maintained record of what applies, from statute, standard, permit and contract, set against the duty holder, the evidence each duty requires, and how often
- Compliance assessment: a structured review against that register, subject by subject. We ask to see the record, not the intention, and grade findings by consequence, not by how easily they are fixed
- Assurance framework: who checks what, how often, against what standard and reported to whom. An internal audit programme, and a management review that produces decisions instead of minutes
- Readiness for certification or inspection: gap analysis against a management-system standard, a rehearsal audit run properly, and the remediation in between. We prepare organisations for certification. Accredited certification bodies issue it, and no consultancy can do both
- Board and committee reporting: a position the people accountable can act on, in language that survives being read aloud in a governance meeting
When to call us
- You are asked to evidence a duty you hold, and the evidence is spread across inboxes, spreadsheets and somebody's memory.
- A regulator, insurer, customer or parent company has put a question to you that cannot be answered from a record.
- A management system exists on paper, and the way the work is really done has moved away from it.
- Certification or reaccreditation is approaching and nobody has tested the position since the last one.
Tell us what you have to evidence.
Describe the duties in front of you and how they are currently held. We will set out what establishing the real position would involve.
